But it is only the beginning of October! Well, yeah.

He looks happy, I think

Cars are buried (buried by my standards--apparently this is nothing, I am told)

Lala sleeps while I obsess about the snow

The leaves are still green

I guess I forgot to bring in my herb garden for Winter

Chipmunk is a little confused (as was I)

I am not panicking, really, this Winter will be great. inhale-exhale-inhale-exhale

I just love fall and winter. My favorite time of year. Don't you?

I love Autumn: the crisp wind, rain, the smell of woodstove smoke in the air. I love Winter too. But, I am deathly afraid to drive in the snow and ice. And that lack of confidence is dangerous. I just need to plan better. <3

I've decided my favorite thing about autumn is football. Not watching it, but the fact that it's socially acceptable to go to the bar at 9AM and drink all day if you pretend to care about it. This winter might kill me. I think the excessively sunny Seattle summer (really, it was super nice up here) was the only reason I wasn't two steps from opening an artery on a daily basis. Now it's getting cold, not as many people go out, I don't meet that many people any more, I'm sick of my dirty hippie.... But hey, at least we don't have snow yet!

Ahh snow. My early years were spent in Alaska and then we moved to TX. I've seen snow here maybe 3 times in the last 30 years. sigh

Snow sucks. It really, really sucks. It's pretty, though.
